The Pre-Health degree program at Northwest Nazarene University provides both a solid academic program for admission and success in medical school and a solid Christian education to prepare students for the challenging future of medicine. Small class sizes and an active pre-health preparation program guide students through the requirements for admission into medical school upon receiving their pre-health degree. Northwest Nazarene University has two cadavers, a male and female, used for pre-health degree majors interested in a hands-on jump start to the reality of medical school.
Northwest Nazarene University offers, as a course of study connected to a Bachelor of Science degrees in chemistry and biology, programs in Pre-Medical, Pre-Dental, Pre-Optometry, Pre-Physician Assistant, Pre-Veterinary Medicine, Pre-Dental Hygiene, and Pre-Pharmacy.
